The world
You are Captain Rex Maddox of the starship Halcyon, four months out of the Academy and about to make your first combat drop. Five hundred years into the war against the Vorm, they have overrun the mining world of Mireval IV, and High Command has asked for you by name. Power armour, a laser minigun called the Hammer, orbital strikes on call, and the finest ship's mind in the Fleet in your ear. Humanity is watching. Make them proud.
